Enjoyed your podcast and hearing your qualms about possible explanations. My theory is based on the scientifically proven (mathmatically proven) Super String Theory that postulates that our 3D world has connection with 6 more dimensions easily and another 3 dimensions past those. It would take some energy to get from 3D to the 4th dimension (such as the Swan exploding). It would take a huge amount of energy to get to the top 3 dimensions (like Jughead exploding).

Jay I totally hear you and thank you for your listenership over the years! The bottom line is that we are again being victims to lazy writing and - 24’s at the point where that’s not what should derail a program with this much talent. KAtie Sackoff is completely wasted this season and it looks as though a completely competent Freddie Prinze Jr. is also on his way to acting oblivion. DEAR FOX! Do not cast these people into the fire! More whackiness next week apparently from several people sending in tidbits that I know DO NOT BID WELL for next week. OY!

I’ve been a big follower of your podcast, and I was SHOCKED when I heard the unprecedented scores you guys gave the episode. I don’t disagree with you guys… I was just shocked at the score. At first I thought it shouldn’t get that low of a score, but I couldn’t argue with anything to justify adding points.

The only thing that I enjoyed was the dead bait, but they killed my excitement with the Jesus-eye Bomber sequence. I feel that they’ve used up the arriving to a subject who has any bit of information and they are killed or shot, just as they are going to be useful. Causing either to get no info or a small piece of info from their last gasp, which stretches five episodes. So I thought having Dead-bait was a a refreshing way of this plot device.

The idea of only 4 episodes this year and finishing the season next year, I think was brillant. It was a late start show, but rather than trying to find and keep its footing through the holiday season, they give people a taste and then come back in force next late winter.

Only 5 episodes? Really? That makes me happy I didn’t take the time to tune in at this point. What’s the scuttle on the show being green-lit? All of this “mini-mini-partial mini series stuff is just more fuel for the fire of being gunshy on taking on new programs. Eeek! Thanks for the reporting and keep it up!

I just had a thought about Ryan and his lady love. Could it be that she, too is a V and he didn’t know it? Her pregnancy revelation may have alerted him to that fact. Just a thought.

I don’t think Ryan experienced the Bliss. When he met that ex-Fifth Column guy, he said that the guy wanted to welcomed back into the Bliss or something like that.

One thing that intrigued me is that, as you said earlier, we saw Joshua opposing the Bliss, but we didn’t see Ryan’s reaction. I wonder how complex Ryan’s relationship with humans and V really is.

March is probably a good time for the return. February Sweeps is over. A lot of shows go into reruns around March and April. (I don’t know if NCIS will.). So, they could have an opening.

Me, I’m one of NCIS’s regulars, but I suspect V taps a different audience than a large segmeant of NCIS does.

Too bad they are not bringing it back until March. I also wonder if this show can survive against NCIS, which is the most watched show on TV. The original weekly series was up against Dallas in the mid 1980s, and that was the most popular show at the time…

Years (many years). ago I was actually a fan of his movies. I liked other action heroes better, but did like SS. But either I out grew them or he went in a direction that lost my interest. Eventually, I thought he left the business. I was surprised when I saw him still making movies that never hit a theater. But like most of these later movies, I’ll probably skip this too.

Thanks for making me laugh! I think the true odds of inter-planetary sex are very slim, but this often comes up in movies and TV shows about aliens. Humans can be very silly.

I never watched the original “V,” so I don’t really have a reference to go by. To me the show is brand new and a good one. It was a great fast-pacing episode. I am a great fan of “LOST,” and I can say that if this pilot is an indication of how the show will be unfolding, I have found a show to replace “LOST” once this last season is over.

I’m not a religious person (but the devil will quote scripture to suit his own purposes ). But what comes to mind is John 8:7:
But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, “He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.”
I’m sure that noone with a “zero tolerance” policy has ever made a mistake before.
The people with the philosophy that Freddie describes truly frighten me.
